Position Overview:
We are seeking a Legal Operations Counsel to join our Venture legal team and support the efficient management of legal work related to investment deals and overlooking the entire legal operating process. This role will be responsible for assisting in contract management, legal technology implementation, process optimization, and general tasks within the venture legal department.
Key Responsibilities:
Support legal team in contract management, filings, KYC and compliance tracking.
Assist in reviewing and maintaining corporate governance documents.
Coordinate legal workflows, approvals, and document execution.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents for routine business operations.
Due diligence reviews of potential investment projects.
Taking part in intra-group legal projects, such as setting up new entities, restructuring, etc.
Research regulatory requirements and provide summaries.
Liaise with external counsel and internal departments for legal operations.
Maintain legal databases, templates, and reporting tools.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; common law background preferred.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Familiarity with contract management and compliance processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in legal tech tools and document management systems is a plus i.e. sumsub, asana
