Role

Drive revenue growth by sourcing new partnership opportunities and building strategic relationships with crypto funds, L1/L2 foundations, and HNWIs. This role combines strategic analysis, sales, and relationship management to identify and execute high-value deals that expand Origin's product suite.

You'll manage existing partnerships while developing new client relationships for Origin's product suite. The ideal candidate has established connections in the crypto space, experience with crypto liquid funds and DeFi protocols, and the leadership skills to implement a high-performing sales strategy that drives both TVL and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Lead Generation: Source new opportunities through market analysis and networking, filter and convert leads while building relationships with key crypto entities (L1/L2 foundations, funds, DeFi protocols)
  • Relationship Management: Own the lifecycle from lead to close, maintain strategic relationships through meetings, calls, and conferences, pitch Origin Protocol's benefits
  • Revenue Strategy & Growth: Develop and own the revenue strategy to position Origin as a DeFi leader, design growth initiatives to meet or exceed key metrics like TVL, and revenue
  • Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, identify growth trajectories, and maintain a deep understanding of the institutional crypto landscape and Origin's product offerings
  • Strategic Leadership: Become a partner of our current executive team, provide strategic insights with minimal oversight

You have

  • Crypto Industry Knowledge: At least 3 years of experience in crypto-native business development with a deep understanding of the institutional crypto landscape
  • Business Development Expertise: Minimum 5 years in business development or revenue-generating roles, with proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed targets
  • Technical Product Understanding: Ability to comprehend and effectively pitch complex on-chain products to potential partners
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Established network with crypto funds, protocols, L1/L2 foundations, family offices, and HNWIs, with strong negotiation skills and experience with institutional partnerships
  • Self-Directed Leadership: Autonomous work ethic with high ownership, results-focused mindset, and excellent communication/presentation abilities
